Do I need to use a registered company in Ohio to dispose old x-ray equipment?
Every x-ray tube in Ohio is registered with the state. Advanced RTE is licensed with the State of Ohio to properly decommission and recycle x-ray tubes. Once the tube is in our possession you will receive the proper paperwork to submit to the State of Ohio to relinquish the tube from your registration.
What is the process for removing an x-ray system from my facility?
The de-installation team will arrive at an agreed upon time and asses the removal path from your building. They will do everything in their power to be seen and heard as little as possible by your staff and patients. They will position components of the machine for deinstallation and de-energize the machine(sometimes you will need to provide an electrician or building maintenance personnel to turn off power, if no receptacle or shutoff is present in the room). Once the machine is de-energized they will remove the machine, clean up any debris left over, and supply you with the proper paperwork.
What are your hours of operation?
Our business office hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8-5 p.m. We understand that sometimes system removals need to be done during off patient time. We can accommodate any schedule needs including nights and weekends.
